Who's the Boss at www.bahrainblogs.org ???
Since I didn't get my last post on bahrainblogs.org I started wondering about this issue...
I used to have the understanding that earlier all Bahraini blogs were included in this site and whatever we post on our blogs automatically goes there. However, I think this is not true anymore.
So... this leads to many questions. Why has this changed? and if there is a good reason, who should decide what is worthy of making it to Bahrainblogs and what is not? and who decides which blogs will be on the list or not?
I personally thought it was awesome that everyones posts were included before, especially that we live in a country where freedom of speech is not enjoyed by many. I think all bahraini bloggers need to discuss this...

Oh come on Zainab. All you needed to do is email me. mahmood_at_mahmood_dot_tv and I do not censor or otherwise play with posts. The script is automatic and should crawl ALL added blogs every hour to see if there are any changes which it pulls automatically. If you see your blog name on the sidebar as a contributor, rest assured that the AUTOMATIC process will do its job.
Now there are a couple of things which prevented it from doing so:
1. the server was busy at the time, as my server was busy for the last 48 hours due to the huge load because of a couple of referrals.
2. there is something wrong with your feed. Did you check its validity to see if there is any problem with it? Go to http://feedvalidator.org/ and enter the permanent link to the post in question and see if it passes ok.
From time to time I do go through the list of blogs to see how active they are, if they haven't posted for a couple of months or more, I have to assume that they are no longer active and I remove the link (but not the posts already pulled) or if I find that a blogger only posts infrequently (once or less a month) then I don't add them. Other than that I don't touch content or lists.
I cannot access my site still (16Feb06-0852) because of either the load I mentioned or a misconfiguration of the server.
I am going to sign another year with my host for a bigger and faster server, that will add another $150 per month, the total will be $350 per month. Would you like to contribute to ensure that every blogger in Bahrain will continue to enjoy the fruits of my labour, free of charge of course?
I just checked and everything was imported as usual. The last article was this one.

Thanks for clarifying that. I'm glad that its still automatic. As for the price u have to pay, I think all bloggers should contribute to that. So why don't you discuss that in the next meeting and let me know my share. I would be glad to pay.

im still not getting my posts in bahrainblogs.org where when some else posts, it gets displayed on the same time. Could you check if everything is alight.

could you check the validity of your posts please? your blog IS included in the script and it should pull your content in, unless there is something wrong with your feed.
